OZ Minerals Withdraws from Lead Venture
OZ Minerals Ltd. has withdrawn their 76% interest in the Menninnie Dam lead-zinc-silver joint venture with Terramin Australia Ltd. OZ Minerals is Australia’s third largest diversified mining company.
OZ Minerals earned its stake by spending $8 million on the project, which contains a 3.8 million tonne resource in the inferred category of Australia’s mineral reporting code.
It offered no explanation for divesting its stake in the project.
